1. You need more ram. Base memory requirements are 256 MB ram, but you'd want 512+ MB ideally. You migth be able to play it with that low ram, but it would probably be extremely slow/laggy and most likely unplayable (that is if it even ran)
2. What video card do you have? I don't know Dell spec's.. so don't know what video card you have.. |

your system RAM is completely seperate to your Hard Drive space. Deleting stuff off your Hard Drive won't increase your system's RAM. The only way to increase your system RAM is to buy memory from a store and plug it into your system (or get a friends or pay someone to do it if your unsure of just how to do it yourself).

I googled your Dell system and it returned the specs for your machine.
Your video card is a nVidia GeForce4 MX 420 graphics chip set which is fairly outdated. Might want to look into a new cheap budget card. |

You're going to need at least 256MB RAM and probably a 64MB Video Card.
I myself have access to two computers. One of which is fantastic, but isn't mine. My own computer is a Compaq 933Mhz from back in 2001. I had to upgrade my RAM to 384MB and I had a 64MB nVidia MX4400 video card. The game does work on my computer, granted the graphics quality isnt that great, and i do experience computer lag here and there, but you should be able to play this game pretty fine if you can match my specs, as far as RAM and Video Card goes. As always, the higher the better, but no need to break the bank. Also, check out the Technician's Corner, they should be able to help you more with your questions. |

I run a 2500+ oc'd to almost 3200+ barton. And a 800XL as my videocard. I still find in town that the frame rate drops. I myself would recommend higher than what I have because of this fact. I want a s939 amd cpu now. Thinking of getting the 3500+. |
